LlamaPDF is a free, browser-based file conversion platform. Every tool runs entirely on your device using WebAssembly and modern browser APIs — your files are never uploaded to any server.

Our Mission

We believe file conversion should be free, fast, and private. Most online converters upload your files to their servers — we built LlamaPDF to prove that powerful tools can work without compromising your privacy.

Technology

LlamaPDF uses PDF.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF, Tesseract.js (OCR), and other open-source libraries running as WebAssembly or JavaScript in your browser. The application is built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel, supporting 90+ languages.

Privacy Commitment

No file you process with LlamaPDF ever leaves your browser. There are no server-side uploads, no temporary storage, no data collection of file contents. We use analytics only to understand which tools are popular and how to improve them.
