About LlamaPDF

LlamaPDF is a free, browser-based file conversion platform. Every tool runs entirely on your device using modern browser APIs, and some tools also use WebAssembly — your files are never uploaded to any server.

Our Mission

We believe file conversion should be free, fast, and private. Most online converters upload your files to their servers — we built LlamaPDF to prove that powerful tools can work without compromising your privacy.

Technology

LlamaPDF uses PDF.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF, Tesseract.js (OCR), and other open-source libraries running as WebAssembly or JavaScript in your browser. The application is built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel, supporting 30 languages.

Privacy Commitment

No file you process with LlamaPDF ever leaves your browser. There are no server-side uploads, no temporary storage, no data collection of file contents. We use analytics only to understand which tools are popular and how to improve them.
