Why use our PDF editor?
PDFs are designed to look the same everywhere, but that rigidity makes them notoriously difficult to modify without expensive software. Adobe Acrobat costs hundreds of dollars a year, and most free online editors require you to upload sensitive files to their servers — a real concern when working with contracts, medical forms, or financial records. LlamaPDF's editor gives you a practical, full-featured set of annotation and markup tools that run entirely in your browser — no subscription, no upload, no privacy compromise. You can add missing information to forms, annotate reports for team review, redact sensitive details with white-out, insert images and company stamps, draw attention with highlights and underlines, or add sticky-note comments for collaborators. All of this happens without converting the file to another format, so your original layout and formatting remain completely intact.
Editing pairs naturally with other document tasks. Before making changes, you might need to unlock a protected PDF to remove restrictions that prevent editing. After you're done, flatten the document to permanently bake in your annotations so they can't be moved or modified later, add your signature for final approval, or compress the finished file before sharing it by email or uploading it to a portal. The editor is completely free, requires no account, and works seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and phone — no installation or downloads needed.
